The P/V Tool (Protective Ventilation Tool)

The P/V Tool is designed to let clinicians make the best recruitment strategy. It can accurately determine the optimal PEEP and assess patient’s lung recruitability.


STRC/ATRC (Synchronized/Automatic Tube Resistance Compensation)

STRC/ATRC allows iHope mechanical ventilator to auto adjust gas delivery pressure to intelligently compensate the resistance when endotracheal or tracheostomy tube is used.

Apnea Ventilation

A backup vent mode triggered when the ventilator detects patient apnea in CPAP/PSV, V-SIMV, P-SIMV, V+SIMV, BPAP and APRV modes.

Nurse Call

The ventilator can give alarm signals to the nurse call system via RS-232 cable if any parameter reaches a preset level.

EtCO2

To measure the amount of CO2 in patient’s exhaled air to better evaluate ventilation and avoid hypoventilation.

O2 Therapy

To increase O2 concentration in the airway at normal pressure through simple tube connections for hypoxia prevention and treatment.

NIF

The Negative Inspiratory Force is used to check patient’s ability to pull a negative inspiratory pressure against an occluded airway.

PEEPi

The Intrinsic Positive End-Expiratory Pressure (PEEPi) maneuver is used to measure both the PEEPi and Vtrap of a patient.
