I searched long and hard for a lightweight BP monitor before I found the AirBP. This is exactly what I need for my travels. Most BP monitors I found were about a pound or more which adds a lot of weight to baggage especially if you are flying an LCC. The AirBP uses a unique system where it uses its app on the mobile phone to measure the readings. This cuts down on the device needing its own display - and in AirBP's case, cuts the weight down to about 1/3 of a pound. The screen on my previous BP monitor broke during transit in the bag, so this is no longer an issue to be concerned about.
The mobile app is manageable - nothing fancy. It shows the reading as it's measuring your BP, keeps a history and chart of past readings with notes and names, and allows you to export the data. Additionally on iOS, you can connect to Apple Health if you wish. I had no problems with the connection from the device to the app on the phone. It activated very quickly every time. And the device has a rechargeable battery built-in with a cord included. The cuff comes "pre-curled" which I assume is to keep the cuff wrapped up small and transportable. This might make the cuff around your arm a bit snug in order to fit, but seemed to work fine. Note that my arm diameter is probably a normal size. The reading seem to range some just like my experience with other home/personal BP monitors so in this regards it did not seem better or worse. Occasionally, it seems to reset while starting the reading. Again, this is normal in my experience with other home/personal BP monitors. Though it does seem to do it slightly more.
All in all, I am very happy with the device after a week of use. I would recommend if the priority is something compact and lightweight.
It's the 21st century - why can it integrate with Apple but not Google's fitness system. It's not that hard. It also seems to be higher than my doctor's readings - his is done manually along with a stethoscope. And firmware - my device is AirBP 4065 - is 2.8.0 - is that the latest and if not, how do I update it? There are no firmware update options in the app.
All in all, could do better.
Hi Sir,
Our engineer is working on integration on Google Fit, but it requires the time. Please stay tuned

I have been using this in my business now for 3 weeks and has been great!
Easy to use.
Really love this product! Really small and ease with the connection with phone....easy to track the history of your bp...and easy to bring along while travelling...
The BP™ Blood Pressure Monitor is easy to operate , it's appear well made, compact , the web application is simple but do the job
This device is extremely accurate, extremely portable. The app for it is seemless. I love how small it is for travel. The shipping time was reasonable. Just be warned that when it is shipped to Canada expect an extra $19 for gst and the customs fee, that was a bit of a surprise. But all told it worked out to just under $100cdn which is reasonable for such a high quality BP monitor
easy to operate and efficient
