Have tried it out for 3 days now and quite happy with it.
Very easy to set up and fill the water.
The APAP mode works well I think and the ramp time is 1 hr which is longer than the other CPAP I have.
All the sleep data is stored in an SD card and has more information than my old CPAP too.
Anyway, so far no complaints.
This machine is so easy to use and adjust by a knowledgeable patient! It's a new machine to me but quite easy to get used to coz I can sleep quite solidly with it now. According to the sleep data, the auto feature is working and can reduce the average pressure although it can deliver even more pressure depending on my situation at the time. I can get very detailed sleep data report the machine writes to the SD card.
This APAP is very easy to use and perfect for me. I like the auto feature so much as it adjusts the flow based on my breathing patterns. I can also notice such a dramatic difference in expiratory resistance. And I do not snore when on it. I would highly recommend this machine.
The iBreeze APAP is the only machine I have used so I can't compare it against anything else. But what I can say is it’s an effective machine because I sleep better now and that's the main thing! It’s also quieter than I thought, really simple to set up and it displays your sleep quality readings so I can know what my previous night's sleep was like. Overall it's quite a comfortable machine to use and I am very happy with it.
It performs pretty much like it should and I'm getting more and more used to it. My AHI went down from around 25 to about 5 in the first few days and I can wake up more refreshed. So I'm sure it really works for me.
I've had a CPAP machine before this one and the iBreeze APAP is really better. The auto adjusting pressure is obviously more comfortable. There have been times when the pressure has adjusted higher than what my doctor recommended. This means the APAP can recognize the onset of an event and increase pressure to avoid it. Then the pressure will decrease again. The sleep data the machine provides can show how the air pressure changes and how my sleep therapy is going.
