Is the Laser Light unit effective on hip and shoulder joint arthritis?

Yes. The Laser Light unit is designed to help reduce pain, stiffness, and inflammation in large joints such as the hip and shoulder. For best results, follow the recommended treatment schedule and consult your healthcare provider if you have advanced arthritis or other medical concerns.

Treatment Guidance & Safety

Understand how to use the device safely, how often to use it, and what to expect during treatment.

I noticed red marks after use—is this normal?

Yes, mild redness or red marks after using cold laser device are generally normal and temporary. These marks typically fade gradually within 2 days and are not harmful.

This occurs due to increased local blood circulation and skin sensitivity to light energy during treatment.

Please rest assured, this is a known and usually minor response to laser therapy—and many users experience this during early sessions. If redness persists or you experience discomfort, please stop using the device and let us know.

Does this use the laser and TENS at the same time?

Yes, you can use the laser and TENS at the same time.

Each has its own separate power button, so you can turn both on simultaneously or choose to use just one at a time.

I didn’t realize the TENS function would sting. What should I do?

TENS therapy can create a mild tingling or stinging sensation — this is normal and indicates the electrical pulses are stimulating the nerves. If you prefer not to use TENS, you can simply turn it off (avoid pressing the 4th button). The Cold Laser Therapy itself is the core treatment and works effectively on its own for tendon pulls, muscle aches, and joint pain. You’ll still receive full therapeutic benefits without using TENS.

What is the normal sensation when using the device?

During Cold Laser Therapy, you may feel a gradual soothing warmth, but it will not feel hot. With TENS, you may notice a mild tingling, tapping, or pulsing in the treated area. These are normal responses and indicate the device is working.

Do I have to wear goggles when using the device?

Yes. We strongly recommend wearing the provided protective goggles during every session. While the laser is low-level and safe for skin use, goggles help protect your eyes from accidental exposure, especially when treating areas near the face. For maximum safety, avoid looking directly into the laser beam.

What if the included protective goggles are too small?

The device comes with standard-size protective goggles designed to fit most users. If you find them uncomfortable or too small, you may use any CE/FDA-approved laser safety goggles that cover the same wavelength range. This will ensure both comfort and proper eye protection.

Can the HD-cure pro laser be used WITHOUT the tens being on?

Yes, the laser (third button) can be used without the TENS (fourth button) being on. Both the laser and TENS functions can be used independently or simultaneously, and each has three intensity levels for your comfort.

Pain Relief Results

Learn when to expect results, what conditions this device can help with, and how to maximize benefits.

When will I start feeling pain relief?

During your first few sessions, you may notice a gentle warming and relaxing sensation in the treated area — this is a normal response as blood circulation improves. Pain may feel slightly eased during treatment and become less intense.

Many users report feeling some relief after a few sessions, while others may need 1–2 weeks of consistent daily use to notice significant improvement.

Results vary depending on the cause and severity of your pain, as well as how regularly you use the device. Consistent use as directed will help you achieve the best outcome.

What exactly is the TENs feature doing?

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) primarily serves four key functions:

‣ Pain Relief: It blocks pain signals from reaching the brain, which is its MOST significant effect.

‣ Improved Blood Circulation: It enhances local blood flow, aiding in muscle relaxation and healing.

‣ Muscle Relaxation: It helps relieve muscle tension and spasms through nerve stimulation.

‣ Functional Improvement: By reducing pain and relaxing muscles, TENS can improve overall mobility and function.

Restrictions & Precautions

Important information about who should not use this device and when to consult a doctor.

Who should not use this device?

Do not use the device if you:

- Are pregnant

- Have cancer or a history of malignant tumors

- Have active bleeding disorders

- Have open or infected wounds at the treatment site

When in doubt, always check with your healthcare provider.

Can I use it if I have a pacemaker?

If you have a pacemaker, you can safely use the cold laser therapy function, but do NOT use the TENS (electrical stimulation) function, as electrical currents may interfere with pacemaker operation.

For safety, always consult your healthcare provider before using any therapy device if you have implanted medical devices.

Is it safe to use on my face or near my eyes?

Facial skin is more sensitive, so we recommend avoiding use on the face whenever possible.

If you need to relieve facial muscle pain, you may use Laser mode on Level 1 for no more than 15 minutes, but do not use the TENS function on the face, as the electrical stimulation may feel uncomfortable or cause a tingling sensation.

Important: Never direct the laser near or around the eyes. Laser exposure to the eyes can be harmful. Always follow the safety instructions in the user manual.

Is this device safe to use if there is hardware (screws and plates) in the spine from a surgical lumber fusion?

Yes, the device does not interfere with the hardware and can be used without any concerns in such cases. However, every surgical case is different. We recommend you consult your surgeon or healthcare provider before use, especially if your surgery was recent or if you experience discomfort during treatment.
