CPAP Mode
Delivers a fixed pressure with optional DEP.
*DEP: The device maintains the optimal treatment for the patient during inhalation and reduces pressure during exhalation.
BPAP-S (Spontaneous) Mode
In this mode, every breath is spontaneous and patient-triggered. Patients/clinicians need to set two pressure, one for inspiration (IPAP) and one for exhalation (EPAP). The patient initiates the breathing and triggers the machine to deliver support with the preset pressure level. BPAP-S mode is suitable for patients who can breathe spontaneously.
BPAP-T (Timed) Mode
In timed mode, the IPAP/EPAP cycling is purely machine-triggered, at a set rate, typically expressed in breaths per minute (BPM). The patient's breathing is driven by the machine. BPAP-T mode is suitable for patients who can not breathe spontaneously.
BPAP-ST Mode
A backup rate (breaths per minute (BPM)) can be set in S/T Mode. When the user's spontaneous respiratory rate is higher than the backup rate, the ventilator works in S mode. If the user's spontaneous respiratory rate falls below the backup rate, the device will be triggered to work in T mode.
