The device was packed and shipped quickly, but the tracking number came up on my browser as USPS and not FedEx as mentioned on the shipping confirmation. When I would query USPS for the status, they would say that the 'label prepared' or something like that, but no further detail. This went on for over a week, I thought the order was lost - (like masks and wipes these days..). Then I got an email saying that 'Order was out for delivery'! I clicked again on USPS and it gave the same response as before - 'label prepared'. Then, encouraged by the email, I put the same tracking number into FedEx - and more encouraging information appeared - that FedEx had transferred the package to the USPS and they were handling the last mile of delivery - with the same tracking number. Since I was looking at this email on Sunday and it had been sent on Saturday, I just went down to my postbox - and there was the package. The USPS still says 'label prepared'.
By this time, I already had another pulse oximeter. Comparing the two gave results within the margin of error.
The device itself works well enough. It seems to connect reliably to my phone via Bluetooth and seems relatively accurate (but I don't have a calibrated sensor to compare with). The problem is the app is pretty disappointing. The shown graphing mode doesn't appear to be available in the iOS version, only the current readings are shown. There is also no integration with the Apple Health app. Between the two missing features, it limits the app's utility; the big plus with Bluetooth and App is that you have easy access to historical readings (which do include graph display).
I can’t speak to the durability of this oximeter because I’ve just had it a couple of weeks, but so far, it seems sturdy and it is working consistently. I have the app and was pleased that I could share results with my allergy/asthma doc If needed. I’ve had asthma for years and have been meaning to get an oximeter for years. It took covid-19 to finally convince me to have one on hand. Ordering and shipment were easy and very prompt. Only weird thing was that the oximeter came in a teeny tiny box and I almost didn’t see it on my porch. Overall very pleased with this product and also glad I chose the Bluetooth option.
The OxySmart Fingertip Oximeter was easy to use. It turned on and worked as soon as I inserted my fingertip into the device. I downloaded and installed the App on both an Android and iPhone. The Apps were quick to download and immediately recorded the measurements with a graph to track how oxygen saturation and heartrates change over time. This device works fine for sharing with multiple family members as long as the person wearing the device has the App open to record measurements at the time. This is an important device, giving us peace of mind during these troubled times!
This device works very well and was delivered promptly!
The pulse ox is accurate and works great!
I found this oxygen sensor easy to use and interface to the app. Having the trend to watch gives you a clearer view of your oxygen level and sharing that with doctors is helpful.
Great and easy to setup
I have to laugh at myself! I purchased Oxysmart Fingertip (Bluetooth) Oximeter for USD85! After a week, this site quoted the price as US$75. Now it is US$65! Did I make mistake in timing my purchase!? But one thing, I must appreciate. I purchased some items (which were shipped from China) from other vendors. They took a very long time. GetWellue delivered to me in just 7 days, that too on Corono days! I had to wipe clean the box and product all the way to be safer!
I quarantined the meter for 48 hours before using!
But the shipment was not without trouble! DHL shipped the item direct to me as if I was direct purchaser and I had to pay customs duty to get delivered. When I complained, Getwellue promptly refunded me back the duty charges! Kudos!
The purchase process was amazingly smooth.
Yes, I tested my oximeter by holding my breath for 30minutes to check if oxygen level drops below 95%. Yes, It did, though it showed up soon after I returned to my normal breathing. However, I am satisfied, the meter seems to sense my oxygen content!
The app was a bit disappointing. I have a samsung phone. I tested the meter during 20 minutes of meditation. The data does come immediately to my phone connected by bluetooth. But, it is hard to find graphs on phone to check pulse pattern and oxygen consumption pattern. As the data is not stored in cloud, and is stored on individual device, I had to do the test using my iPad. iPad was able to display the graphs.
I wish perfusion index too showed clearly and on graph.
The product and app may not be extra-ordinary but the customer service is!
Shipped from China, took just 6 days to Canada, in these times that is impressive. The device seems to work well and is easy to use, not tried the Bluetooth functionally yet.
