The Difference Between 3-Channel and 12-Channel ECG
If it is a 3-channel ECG, the microprocessor groups the signals received from the 12-leads, in 4 groups of 3 and processes them. Similarly, in 6-channel it is in 2 groups, and in the 12-channel devices, the same 12-leads are processed simultaneously. Hence, the higher the number of channels, the faster the ECG recording would be.
How to perform a 12-lead ECG?
The acquisition of the 12-lead ECG in the field is theoretically not different from those obtained inside the emergency department. However, due to the unique prehospital environment, there are several tips and pearls to consider when placing the patient electrodes.

I just brought this ECG machine. I suppose it runs on the standard A4 paper. However, it actually use 210x140 mm paper and print out in A4 format. It's a little difficult to get such size paper. Also I had some trouble saving tracing to an SD card. The support team has been very helpful in solving all my problems. The quality of ECG is very good. One other point is the chest lead clips cannot attach firmly to the standard 3M disposable electrodes. I hope they can't improve on such minor details.

Our community health center wants to buy a EKG machine with a capable size. Since they sometimes need to take the unit with them and visit families on site. Machine results are very accurate and reliable. The large screen is helpful. It supports handwriting and includes a printer, very easy to operate, saving a lot of time. Its portability and wireless ECG transmission are my desired features.
